Identification: 4 inch long hair like fungus

    Ok. Thanks for the reply. It looked exactly the same! Long black silky hairs with little bud things on the tips.

    Ok, ( TBH) the plate had been there for maybe four days sporting the dry crusty remnants of chicken liver Friskies Pate; the weird part is that the mold sprouted in the six or so hours I was asleep of the plates day five! I’ve read the entire thread thus far and am wondering if anyone has determined anything more in relation to cat food/ mold growth/ etc? I would super appreciate any helpful info as to why/what/ how! Thank you:)

    This is ours.
    My husband thought it was the cat's tail! Or maybe he's trying to grow her from seed :)
