Have just been trimming back a jungle of honeysuckle, passion flower and other assorted plants and came across a rather small tulip plant. It appears to have three flower heads, pictures of which I have attached. All the rest of the tulips in the garden have been growing and naturalising for a number of years and I have no idea of type but all of them have only flower. Strange?

Various cluster-flowered tulip cultivars are on the market.

    Thanks Ron
I suppose that this is an example of how plants can naturally alter as well as being selectively bred. My guess is that all the flowers will be the same colour but but would be interested to know if are there any multi-coloured plants?

Same flowers from each bulb, same as with other tulips. Petal counts and flower size can vary with some kinds of plants, and Asteraceae do have a compound head of tiny flowers not all of the same kind.
