Identification: 20yr mystery

    Could someone please help me identify this plant. I bought it over 20 years ago now. It thrives in shade. Direct sunlight fades and burns its leaves. When i first got it as a sapling it's seed was on top of the soil as it grew, finally the fruit withered and dropped off. It has never flowered or produced any fruit of its own which i find strange after all this time.

    Looks like Castanospermum australe, Moreton Bay Chestnut.
