    Early September.

2 pictures taken in Oporto (big fruits) and 2 taken in Sintra (small fruits), Portugal. I think they are 2 different species. Any clue of what species of magnolia are they? Magnolia acuminata...?

Possibly a yulan magnolia and a saucer magnolia. Without more than these pictures it will be difficult to be certain. Knowing if this situation is one where the trees would belong to older, common types like these only or could be more recent hybrid selections would also affect the range of possibilities.
