Orange Tropical Tree

    I am having trouble identifying this tree. It was about the size of a Crabapple (for the temparte gardeners). Growing in Davie, Florida (just west of Fort Lauderdale).

    TonyR thanks for the link. Butea monosperma is definitely the tree. I noticed that it has a synonym of Erythrina monosperma but when I looked up Erythrina I couldn't find this tree. Very showy little tree that has a strange habit and wonderful flowers.
