what tree?

    reminds me of a young Oak but to be honest I cant tell the leaf arrangement or if its a compound leaf or not from the picture. anything a few meters closer?

    Looks like it has pinnately compound leaves.

    That is a hard pic to read. I'll see if I can find a bigger one...

    Here it is. And looking now, I've got a guess of my own. Am I off the mark with Ailanthus altissima?

    yup, looks like Ailanthus. Certainly not an oak as I first guessed.
