Giant palm tree

I first saw this tree on my visit to Singapore in the 1980s. I saw it again at the Singapore National Orchid Garden in 2018. It is a very impressive huge palm tree. I took a photo, and hoped to be able to find the name of this tree. I search the web. The closest I could get to is "giant fan palm." However, I have not been able to match the name to a similar photo of this tree. I hope experts at the UBC Botanical Garden can help.

 

Looks like Ravenala madagascariensis, Traveller's Palm.

This is such a beautiful tree. I was searching in the wrong place. It is not a palm!
