I have a cactus that has babies and the flower seems to be like a pussy willow fuzzy anyone have any idea of the name the other is a plain jane with no name
I don't know the name of either cactus pictured, but I have the same type that has the "pussy willow fuzzy". The fuzzies are actually immature blossom buds that potentially could develop into a large, beautiful blossom 4 or 5 inches long. Sometimes the buds remain immature and eventually drop off. I've found that flowering can be induced by letting the soil dry out completely and then start watering again. My cactus has had blossoms at just about any time of year after experiencing this simulation of a dry/wet season. The flower is very nice; but, unfortunately, it only lasts a day before it wilts. Perhaps someone else will know the name of the cactus.
Not sure of the first one but the second one with the large red flower is Echinopsis, cant narrow it down as there are many and with different flower colors, but definitely echinopsis. I have one blooming right now it is Echinopsis subdenudata, Its is like your but Spineless.
