Is this a ficus?

    That would be my guess, but I know very little about this stuff, which is why I'm soliciting assistance here.

    My monitor's messed now, but I can see some of your pics.

    The leaves should alternate on the stem if Ficus. Should have an obvious sheath at the stem.

    I have to believe you are correct. After extensive views from that google search, I have narrowed it down to a "Zamioculcas zamiifolia". Now I'm still have trouble finding a good information page on the plant that is written in English, but at least I am now headed in the right direction. Thank you!
