I have tried searching online for this and can't seem to ID this shrub, or maybe tree. I have attached two pictures of the same plant. I know it grows fast in the spring and I see it all along the perimeter of my yard. I have tried to remove a few of the shrubs but the roots grow really deep. Can someone tell me what this species is? and if its a tree or shrub? Luke
Thank you, I looked up Morus Alba and the one thing that sticks out to me is I never see the berries that are shown with it. In fact I don't see any fruit or flowering coming from this. Does it only show fruit at a certain time of the year?
Maybe too young? It could also be an all-male tree; usually mulberries produce both male and female flowers, but occasional individuals produce only one sex of flowers.
