What are they?

I have no clue wht the first one is well the second one either lol. thanks for helping in addy!
The first growth, I found on a branch sticking out of the water of a very dirty pond! there are other branches sticking out but this is the only with this gowht, and i do not know the type of wood!
The second one I found in a old corn/tobacco/soy bean field, and they are abundent in the field, growing everywhere but on the outer edge of the field.

 

First two pics are a species of moss.

Third pic is a plant in the family Lamiaceae

 

Looks like henbit, Lamium maybe L. amplexicaule

The mosses are quite possibly a species of Atrichum.
