    I'm a farm girl, originally from northern Alberta and descended from pioneer farmers. I have a large yard filled with roses, shrubs and various fruit trees, for which my neighbors often compliment me. I still make the occasional mistake and it's clear that the more I learn about gardening, the more I still need to learn. I try to observe and read as much as I can but I'm hoping to learn more from the people on this forum.
