I have a 10 year old Weeping Cherry tree in my front yard which appears to have a problem. We had a fantastic Spring and oodles of flowers, but now the flowers are gone and their are no leaf formations covering the tree limbs.

I'm attaching 2 pictures of my ailing tree, if you know what's going on and how I can cure it's problems I really appreciate your assistance.

I would like to save this tree if possible, it's my wife's favorite.

Sometimes oodles of flowers can be a sign of severe stress on a tree. Have there been any changes in the nearby physical landscape in the past year? It looks to be in pretty rough shape...

    Good Day Daniel:

Thanks for getting back to me.

The only thing that has changed in the physical landscape is the repaving of the road in front of my property. My landscaper told my wife to cut it down. I would prefer not too.
This tree was grown from seed by my wife.

I treasure it more than any other on the property.

Disease-susceptible. Clip examples of affected parts and take to Master Gardener clinic or Cooperative Extension office.
