I live in CT. Something is eating my leaves on every plant that I have in front of my house (north) and even around the corner where it is sunny. I found a very small dk. brown, worm-like pest. It is in two segments, one being roundish and the other part straught, like a work. It is about 1/4" long. My leaves, including flowers, are full of holes.

Post a photo or scan. Also, what the bug is eating might also be a clue.
