Purple flower blooming now

    what is the proper name for this plant?

    It seeds freely but is not unmanageable

    Bees and hummers love it

    It is blooming now nr ocean nr Vanc bc

    I will attempt to upload photos

    PS I know it’s not lupin nor do i think it’s larkspur

    I think Linaria purpurea.

    I agree with comment above. It looks like Linaria. My mum has similar one in her garden. It looks really beautiful! I think that she didn't planted it, but it started to grow on its own.

    Thank you / I agree too w linaria

    I think this plant came in a nursery plant or some topsoil I ordered

    I happen to like this free seeding weed as do the bees and hummers - and it’s easy to weed out

    I say weed in quote marks / likes our climate and no bugs on it!
