Ok, so I have a Papaya that I grew from a seed. I've been babying this plant for 18 months at my office (gets 24hr light there and loves it), and then needed to repot it so loaded it into my car. I had to make a stop at a store, and left the plant in the car... yea dumb... Unfortunately it was one of those rare 90F+ days and the poor thing did NOT like it. It got badly burned. All of the leaves have wilted, dried up and crumpled. The only slight glimmer of hope is that there are some small growth on the trunk that seem to be very small leaves. So my main question is... is this thing a lost cause? Should I try to help it back? Or just chuck it? I'm sort of resigned to starting over, but man... that's hard.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
