Magnolia - Planting

Discussion in 'Magnoliaceae' started by Unregistered, Apr 18, 2005.

  1. I'm in the Crawfordville, FL area (20 miles south of Tallahassee) and we purchased
a lot with a natural magnolia tree. Unfortunately, that's all I really know about the
    tree.
Surrounding the base are 5 smaller trees. I would like to know if we can take the smaller trees, without harming the original tree, and transplant them around the property. If this is possible, I would like some guidance on how to do so.

    Thank you for any assistance.

    Hi Pam,

I see you aren't registered so I have no way of knowing if you'll get this message. If you do, let me know and I'll try and help you. I'll need more info about the placement of the seedlings, size and proximity to the larger tree.
