Three years ago, I started a loquat plant from seed quite accidentally. It has now grown into a beautiful five foot long ( perhaps even longer) tree. This winter was the first time I kept it out in the balcony ( yes- it's in a pot as we live in a condo and do not have a garden. It survived pretty good. I love it but I feel that if I want to see it happy, I will eventually have to give it away to someone who has a garden and loves plants. So it's up for grabs if anyone is interested - the only condition is that you must promise to email me it's photograph at least a couple of times a year as I would like to know how it's doing - it's just like a child to me....

It might help if you post a photo of the tree.
