Identification: help identifying these mushrooms please

    any help identifying these would be appreciated. they were found on my lawn, in northern BC, mid July. I would have guessed pine mushroom, except for the smooth stalk and that it was growing on my lawn, not a forest floor.

    It appears to be Leucoagaricus leucothites, formerly known as Lepiota naucina, a common lawn-inhabiting mushroom around here. It is considered edible, but should not be tried unless you are positive of its identity, since it resembles some very poisonous Amanita species.
