I'm planning on planting some black bamboo in an area around 20' long by 3' wide. I want to make sure that it stays contained. Anyone know of a cheap way to contain them? I've hear pots but i'm not sure if i wanna bury 10 + pots. I've also heard lining the area with a barricade material. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thank you.

One thread up, you'll find suggestions on rhizome barrier... One of the first things you'll need to decide, long before the barrier, is which 'black bamboo' you want to grow. ;-)
