late lovely in the Rocky Mtn alpine

    Not sure what this is! Could it be, or be related to montia parvifolia? This was at 7000 feet at least, Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park in BC south of Canmore Alberta on September 1st. Surprised to see such a relatively fresh blossom at this time and location.
    Can anyone confirm ID? Much appreciated.

    A willowherb Epilobium of some sort.
