Hello all, I have these two plants that I got instead of them being destroyed. I don't know what they are and I am afraid they are sick (I have no idea whats wrong or what to do) . Can anyone help me?

I'd say give 'em a good bath, thoroughly wash off the foliage, trunk, and roots, and repot in fresh sterilized potting soil. Or send them out with your yardwaste pickup and buy new plants.

First one looks like a fiddleleaf fig tree, the second one, a Schefflera.

Never had a fiddle leaf to help with it's care, but I think you will need to air layer this one.
The Schefflera can be pruned back where it's bare to just above a leaf stem, new leaves will grow where you made the cut (s)

I'm pretty sure the first one is an Avocado tree.
