Hi there, I'm new to gardening and my husband and I are wishing to plant a lilac tree in front of our house. We would like to know if anyone could help us out. We need to know what type of soil and temperature requirements are needed. We also need to know how we can obtain a lilac tree, can we get one from an existing tree or do we buy one?
