I won a Shin Deshojo on ebay from oregonnursery and this is what i got...It kinda looks like my old Ukigumo but i have no idea what it actually is...Can anyone identify this tree?
It looks alot more like Ukigumo than it does Shin deshojo. The spring leaves aren't bright red as they should be for Shin deshojo, and Shin deshojo should have standard palmate leaves. That leaf shape in your photos match photos of my Ukigumo from last year. I know it's not Shin Deshojo because i have 2 already...I don't see the seller listing Ukigumo's so i was thinking something else...I have had 2 ukigumo's in the past and they do not survive the winter here..So i was hoping it wasen't. lol
