I have a large, 14 yr old Polystichum neolobatum aka Long Eared Holly Fern or Asian Sabre Fern. It is a beautiful healthy evergreen plant in a nice symmetrical vase shape with no obvious side crowns. A friend is interested in getting one for her garden and we wondered if it would be possible to divide mine without damaging it or spoiling the shape. If not she is happy to buy one. Does anyone know if it is widely available?
