My Oriental lilies are blossoming profusely (hooray) but many of the blooms are falling off immediately. I have checked for insects and all I can see are an occasional fire ant. I guess they could be eating the base of the flower, but there is no visible damage. Is there a bug that causes this or do the plants need a supplement other than time release fertilyzer? They are well mulched and watered every 2nd day. Thanks

I haven't been able to find anything that might cause this, sorry.

Thanks for every ones effort I cant find what caused it, but it was some type of insect. They seem to haven responded to spray. Didnt want to but was going to lose 200 plants
