Where are my hostas?

    The following question was received via email:

    I planted a few varities of Hostas at our place in Ocean Falls last summer. We went back there last week and there are no signs of them. do they die away for the winter? I have never been there this early in the year so am not sure what is going to re-appear in the gardens. Thank you . Sharron

    Yes they do die back in cold weather. But they should start reapearing aroun the end of May depending on Mother nature

    Where is Ocean Falls? I'm in Vancouver and my hostas are already showing their heads.
