    Seems as though the UK is a burgeoning hotbed of orchid species! Good news indeed.

    Giant orchids that can reach up to 3.2ft (one metre) tall have been discovered in Oxfordshire – marking the first time they've been spotted growing wild in the UK.

    The orchid, which flowers in March, has proven a hit with early pollinators, including bumblebees, which have been seen on the flowers. “Our local bees have welcomed them, so then why shouldn’t we?”
