14 year old Picea pungens 'Glauca Pendula' growing in my front yard in Kansas City. Staked for height. Now free range and leader taking a left hand turn. Who knows where it's going. This cultivar can be grown about anyway you want it to look if you train it.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing. What is the ground cover in that bed, to the left of the branches cascading along the ground and in front of the yellow thread (or similar)? It looks like a variety of Thyme, but I would like to know the specifics on it. I like the color and how it nicely covers the ground while still having a fresh and well kept look. Very nice garden!
Looks like Thymus pseudolanuginosus, if I correctly identified the spot you have in mind (in front of the yellow thread?).
That's the spot. I suspected Wooly Thyme, it must be the winter here that keeps mine from looking that good.
