subalpine fir from your backyard pics

    anyone has pictures they can share of their subalpine fir planted in their garden or backyard.

    all pictures I can find on the web is in the native settings in the rocky mountains.

    Would love to see how this tree would look like grown in a garden with more TLC.

    It rarely looks very good in cultivation - most people live in much warmer areas than where it grows naturally, and in warm conditions it becomes very liable to damage by adelgids (woolly aphids) which make it look poor. Occasional good specimens can be found though.

    I heard from people that the growth is more dense then in their natural enviroment.

    Anyone has pictures of have one in their backyard?
