I am getting ready to plant my tomatoes into containers. When is the best time to do this and is it too early to do it now. I live in Squamish
Any hints to growing great tomatoes in containers?

You need a BIG pot. I've used 5 gallon pots with great results. Here in Vancouver, it's safe to plant them outside on the May long weekend. I'm not sure if Squamish gets cooler then us at night. But around then should be fine. I've also heard, never tried, of putting a fish underneath the plant. It's supposed to fertilze the plant. I just use fish and seaweed emulsion. Good Luck! Which tomato are you planting?
