Anyone know a garden centre in the Vancouver to Chilliwack area (Lower Mainland) BC that has a Mimosa or Silk Tree in stock. Is it true the hummingbirds love this tree? Any tips would be appreciated. I am in ZOne 8. Thanks in advance

Buy 'Rosea', hardier than typical plant and much more effective in flower than ordinary pale forms.

Hi there, if you haven't found one yet, give Art's Nursery in the Port Kells area of Surrey a call, I believe they have them

I am certain that Twining Seeds in B.C. sells some : Twiningsandy@aol.com . I have four growing on my property in deep SW Ontario , Canada , ranging in size from 15' to 20' tall .
Most of the ' hort experts ' would never attempt this tree in our area but I guess nobody informed the trees they shouldn't grow and set flower here ?? Happy Growing !!!

Hardiness varies, native range extends from Iran to Japan.
