Yes - I know my subject is not specific but I am not sure how else to describe it.
I don't know much about plants but I would like to know what this is so I can properly care for it. My aunt purchased it for my at WalMart. It had no actually identification, just an ambiguous "Tropical Plant" tag. It is a very beautiful plant and I do not want it to die on me!

yep, it looks identical to the ti plant i purchased at christmas...my variety (which was man-made as this one probably is) was a tri-color purple/white/green.

keep the soil moist and give it a good sunny spot and it'll stay happy.

If you can get it to survive long enough, which given those conditions is very possible, it'll make a little tree! I have them outside along my walkways.

    Good luck!
