My zuchinni plant is quickly being taken over with powdery mildew on the leaves...I've been trying to cut out the really bad ones but now i just can't keep up. Is there anything I can do (spray) to help it...there is still fruit growing and the blooms also still look good....I'd love to sneak a little more crop before winter!!!!
    Thanks,
    E.

Too late. It got my Cuccumbers and muskmellon. I tried wettable copper, and a soda and water solution. Neither stopped the damage. The mildew devastated the cuccumber crops in the Brantford Area this year (2006). Apparently there is as commercial spray, but it is not available for the peasants. The efficacy of the commercial spray is unknown to me.
My view is wait until next year, maybe the winter will kill this mildew, along with good cultivation. Time will tell.

sulphur with a dial-a-spray, or Neem oil and baking soda....I've had success with both but you have to be proactive and start early and keep it up.
