Acer palmatum 'Sister Ghost'

Think I'll start a Summer colours thread after seeing your Sister Ghost Xi. You are having a very good maple year indeed.

 

What a good idea, D! The conditions have been pretty good for the trees so far this year, haven't they - let's hope that continues during the most difficult summer months ahead!

 

12th June 2022 and my Sister Ghost in a lot of shade. This is the best position for this one to protect it in the Summer.

 

5th November 2022 and as it's been such a mild Autumn so far, my Sister Ghost thinks it's Spring already.

 

18th May 2023 and as this was mentioned on another thread today. I thought I would show how my Sister Ghost is doing this Spring.

 

21st July 2023 and some bright greens in Summer on my Sister Ghost. No burning this year... So far!

9th November 2023 and i thought I would take a photo quickly before the leaves drop. Very green this Autumn.

 

30th March 2024 and its always great to see the ghosts start. So here is my Sister Ghost just leafing out.

 

This is probably my favorite of the ghost series. The light green really stands out in a shady spot.

 

20th April 2024 and my Sister Ghost has fully leafed out.

 

I really love that leaf color. Is that your Skeeters Broom next to it? Great contrast.

 

Yes it is.. they go very well together especially in Spring.
