Ericaceae in Alpine garden

Two pictures from the same tiny plant in Alpine garden, first one from August last year, second one 2 days ago

 

It's Leucothoe davisiae. It was deaccessioned a few years back. Brent has been trying to remove it, but it grew back from under the rock. We are going to revive the accession, so it will have a label soon.

 

A good decision! If this plant grew back from under the rock, it deserves to be alive!
