   I've read that you can grow ZZ plants outdoors in some areas. Will they grow well (outdoors) in the Lower Mainland, BC? Zone 8? Thx.

   definitely will be okay outside for the warm months. not sure if it's hardy in zone 8 or not (might be a zone 10 item, based on where it's from).
