Zone 6 in Tappen B.C

    Tappen British Columbia
    Two of my favorite trees are the Cupressus sempervirens, the Mediterranean Cypress
    and also a Common fig (Ficus carica). What are the chances of being able to grow them in Zone 6 (Tappen BC) Please advise, thanks!!!!

    Britain zone 8/9
    Mediterranean Cypress: nil. For similar shape plants, try Calocedrus decurrens (ultimately quite large), or Juniperus scopulorum 'Skyrocket' (smaller).
