Identification: Young turkey tail ?

    Grows on a fallen log, small enough for me to turn it in situ,
    in order to shot both surfaces. Size about one inch. Springy
    to touch. ? young turkey tail. Kindly confirm please.

    Probably a turkey tail yes, but can't tell for certain as it is too old/damaged.
