These plants have come up in my yard, and I'd like to find out what they are.

The first one came up in the compost, so I'm guessing some kind of vegetable?

The 3rd one might be coriopsis? But I'd like confirmation, and any suggestions as to variety, if possible.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Chris - potato definitely looks like a match.

Not sure about the cuphea - it seems to have tiny leaves compared to the one I have. The leaves are about 2" long right now.

Just a bump - anybody have any other opinions about picture #2 or #3?

I will offer guesses. #2 looks like an Epilobium. #3 looks like Plantago maybe lanceolata.

    .

I wrote that too and deleted it from my reply because the veins are parallel in Plantago and NOT on this plant.

Yeah, I actually noticed that, but the veins look almost parallel. I can't see them well enough. Probably not plantain, but it looks very familiar.
