Young Elderberry tree beetle identification.

    Hi,

    My Elderberry tree is getting swarmed by what look to me like beatles.
    I live in Brisbane, Australia and I don't believe we have the Elderberry Borer (D. palliatus) which looks somewhat similar, here in Australia.

    Can anyone identify this beatle and is it harmful to my tree? - Why are they so interested?

    It might be they only want the nectar?? I saw them only on flower...leaves look so perfect :)
