    Hello
I found these flowers along the roadside in Nanaimo. I have checked in my "Northwest Coastal Wildflowers" book but cannot find anything that looks similar. I would appreciate it if someone could help by providing it identity.

    Thanks
    Stew

Now split into a separate genus as Mycelis muralis.

WOW! I was going to post a few pix of this flower. Real hard for me to ID using eastern flower ID books. There are several places they grow in my area. Adirondack Highlands of northern NY State (Saranac Lake, NY) Thanks so much for the help. Not sure though if it is L or M muralis. Gotta check into it better.

They're the same thing - Lactuca muralis is just an older name, with Mycelis muralis being the currently accepted name.
