Identification: yellow mold maybe?

    We had a huge storm last night that flooded or surrounding area and it lasted about an hour I go outside and find this yellow stuff growing on my mulch where my flowers are but their about 3-5 ft away from it . Someone tell me what this is I took one last night and one this morning. And should I remOve it dOes it harm my plants? I thought it looked like a bunch pollen lol but my v flowers r only startingv to bud n a few bloomed.. some one said dog vomit fungus?

    It's probably dog vomit slime mold. Take a look at some images in Google.

    ... and it if it is, then no it will not harm your plants.

    I prefer the alternate common name for Fuligo septica - Scrambled Egg Slimemold.
