I have some yellow foilage on my southern lace cypress. The stems with yellow are dead and I can easily remove them by hand. This is a relatively new variety of cypress but similar to leland cypress. Please advise as to the problem. We have experienced a drought here in the South but I have kept them watered regularly. Thanks, Scout
MY SUGGESTION IS TO REMOVE ALL THE DEAD LEAVES. GIVE THE PLANT A COUPLE DAYS OF LIGHT LEAF MISTING EARLY NOT IN HEAT TO ABSORB THE WATER TO HEAL. tHEN AFTER A COUPLE DAYS JUST WATER LIGHTLY DO NOT OVERWATER CYPRESS DRAWS LOTS OF WATER FROM THE AIR AND ITS THAT TIME OF YR THE AIR IS COOLER ETC. lET ME KNOW I HAVE NOT HAD A PLANT CROAK IN DECADES
Maybe you could make some pictures of it and post them so we could have a better idea on what's wrong with it.
