Yellow-leaved woody plants at UBC

    Could anyone tell me the name of the two beautiful little yellow leaved trees planted in containers at the front entrance to the Gage Towers? Thanks.

    I will try to look at them on my way to the bus this evening.

    For people who are wondering where the heck the Gage Towers are, they are on the UBC campus. I guess Karin assumed people would know that.

    Well I stopped by the planter in from of the Gage Towers. It looks like a plant I should know, but I am not sure of the name, so I have attached photos.

    Looks like a Rhus, probably Rhus glabra 'Laciniata'...

    Nice looking plant and colour, probably good to have it in a planter if it tends to sucker.
