Yellow hairy caterpillar

I found this on a maple leaf.

Does anyone know what species this is ?

It's an Acronita aceris or Sycamore Moth. From what I can find the moth is actually quite bland looking. Just do a search for it and you will find a couple of sites with decent pictures.
