Yellow flowering tree identification

Hi all
I have this lovely tree in my yard. Haven't been in the property for a full year yet, so trying to figure out what all the plants are. Any ideas on this tree?

Yes the bees do like the flowers.

 

do birds feed as well?

 

I haven't seen any around the tree. We have a bunch of humming birds around. .......I'll keep an eye out

Humming birds do come to it. Note that the plant's protective hairy covering is irritating and may actually be a respiratory hazard, I try to avoid touching my specimens (I have two kinds).
