Hello This shot was taken on March 31, 2007 in the Nanaimo area. I would appreciate it if someone was able to provide it's identity. I am sorry but I don't recall any other information. I hope this shot is sufficient for an ID. Thanks Stew
Sorry, don't know, but not Ranunculus, it doesn't have the conspicuous cluster of carpes that that has, also the petals are too narrow for any of the 5-petalled species I've ever seen.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I must apologize, I totally forgot that I had posted this image. Yes Daniel, it was located in a disturbed area along the Nanaimo Parkway. I think that tipularia identified it correctly. The image is identical. I am trying to identify images correctly before putting them up on my website so I really appreciate your help in identification. cheers Stew
