WoW A Maple in full bloom

Wow what a striking maple in full bloom. I had no idea maples had such beautiful full blooms like that. Why plant common maples when you can have a real show case of a tree like the woolly flowered maple. If it can grow in Northumberland is should grow in the temperate regions of the U.S. But, where on earth would I find an Acer erianthum like the one on the cover of the Newsletter.

 

Search the web using the botanical name.

 

I have searched high and low no tree nor seeds, I would prefer seeds if I could find them. I have used 12 or more search engines and the only places I found even have the tree was in botanical gardens.
