Worms killing my leyland cypress

    I have a leyland cypress that is covered with pods that have worms inside them. These worms have completely killed this cypress, and they are moving to other schrubs. We have never seen this before. How can we eliminate these.

    Probably bagworms. They're saving you from this dreadful tree! Leyland Cypress is not a good garden tree, gets far too large, and in your region is prone to various canker diseases as well as bagworm infestation.
